And you can rewind the time to your preference ...
What would be that length of time and what would you do when you go back.

I would start with going two weeks back and try to make it up for one of my best friends ever and tell him "Let's be friends again".

You are a very special man Salah, for I know of very few who would show the decency and inner strength it takes to do as you have done. I am definitely going to say a special salat for you this night ,innashAllah all will turn out well.
I hope your friend will realise that they would loose someone very special from their lives if they ignored your efforts to make amends. I would even go so far as wondering if they had valued the worth of the friendship to begin with.
But that is between you and your friend.
We should all remember that true friendship is not just given it is earned.
I had the opportunity to go back in time I think it would have to be Some time during the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom during the reign of Hatshepsut.
This is my favourite period in ancient Egyptian history and I would love to be somehow connected to her inner circle .close enough to know just what her relationship with Senmut was. This is something that has intrigued me since i began to learn more of the details of her reign. He had to be a lot closer to her than just an adviser, architect and tutor to her daughter.
Why are there so many hidden references to him in her temple?
Why as he a commoner was he given such a high status tomb?
Does the graffiti in the cave at Deir el Bahri refer to him?.
I am determined to find the answers to these enigmas, time warp or not, even if it takes the rest of my life's work.

Hey there Salah,

I would rewind time really back (13 yrs) to be exact, to the first time when i was really ill and the doctors gave me the wrong medication, and i am still suffering the side effects of their bad choices. (Ast3'fer Allah Al3zeem, Kadar Allah wema sh2 fa3el).

As for you, i think you are a very decent and honest person and i truly admire your opinions and character. I have to second sistablu on what she said about you and your friend and i am sure if he is a true friend he would appreciate what yr doing for him and be happy to have you as a friend.

One last thing...... Why the new account? the old one was very nice and you asked some interesting qs in it ;-)

I have several choices:
1) Go back and eliminate some biblical/historical people that weren't worth being alive.
2) Grab several artifacts and art pieces throughout history and bring them back with me.
3) Eliminate the people who first came up with the UN.
4) Go back to around 1993-1994 and eliminate George Lucas.
5) Go to the Middle Ages with a lighter or lightbulb and pretend to be a wizard or something to impress the peasants. Though my time machine must me very fast, b/c I might be hunted down as a sorcerer or witch and the town might want to kill me.
6) Take automatic weapons with extra ammo packs to historic battles when there were no firearms and change history paradoxically by turning the tide of battle and helping my favorite side, for example, I wouldn't mind going back to around 480 BCE and helping Leonidas and his 300 Spartans beat the Persian army that outnumbered them.
7) Take the Lost Ark of the Covenant and hide it in a very secure location, so I can come back and "find" it later.

If you want to talk about it scientifically, in the field of theoretical physics, time travel truly is possible. Not back and forth. In theoretical physics, time travel is one-way: only to the future, and as far as they know, there is no return. The method would be to travel to a distant star at faster than the speed of light (3 ^8m/sec), slow down, stop, turn around, accelerate again faster than the speed of light towards Earth. This means that during your journey, several thousand or tens of thousands or whatever period of time has passed by on Earth, depending on the proximity of the star system you chose to traverse to.

That's a nice thought. I would do the same and take back some things I said which unintentionally hurt people I care about. I hope you and your friend can work things out for the best.

I will go back to live my with father (May God rest his soul) as he passed away while I was child.
You know there is another period I want to live that's 1967 (El Naksa).
Yes I want that to know the meaning of "1973". I have to admit that most of youth don't know about 6Th of October anything except it's off day, of course we know the war but we don't feel it, when I listen to my mother when she talked about this day I want to live the whole period from June 1967 till October 1973.
