No not a dumb question - you can indeed catch fleas from the ferrets. If the fleas are cat fleas, they are not choosy about what mammal they feed off of. They will not live on you however, just hop on you for a meal.

The ferret's fleas may or may not bite you, just like dog and cat fleas. But they will not live on you.

They would prefer the ferrets, but they would bite you. Get rid of the fleas.

If your ferret has fleas i bet you have them now, you should run to the chemist asap to get some cream. and to your local vets to get some shampoo for your ferrets. You have to be careful with fleas as they may infest your house!

people cant get fleas all you have to do is wash your hair well but they DO get into your carpets and in furniture and they jump on your legs and arms and bite you. you should go get your ferrets a flea dip and a rug cleaning soon.

ferrets are just like cats and dogs in relation to fleas. you need to treat the ferrets quickly, as well as any other pets you have, your ferret's cage, and your home.
ferrets are small and can become anemic fast, which is life-threatening. call your vet and see what they recommend for your situation and pets.

Yes you can get fleas from any mammal. And they bite pretty bad. I got them from a cat once. Not fun.
