A 4 wheel drive truck is more useful. SUV's are dangerous in a beginners hands. They are narrow and top heavy.

All wheel drive cars are instant gas suckers.

It would have helped if we knew where in the US you live. It makes a big difference in what would be picked.

Not an suv. They suck. Buy an all wheel drive car with ground clearance. Much better.

your prob gunna want a 4x4. im thinkin a ranger, pretty good gas mileage and its not too bad of a truck
