They can be. But actually the best way to understand them is to understand how they are not the same. In the end you end up with this either ego and pride are good things or they are not good things. In the good sense ego could be considered the material reality and pride the more complex and higher reality of mental phenomenon. And in a general sense they are both objective realities although their subject matter goes off onto several different paths of thought, you would have to know where and how precisely to use either or both in order to avoid conversations of egotistical outcomes that give way to pride and therefor second degree conversational transactions and discomfort etc.

delight may be solid yet having too lots of that's undesirable. it may recommend being happy with your accomplishments or an lack of ability to confess to being harm. you are able to inflate your ego supplying you with a over-experience of value. the different might reason you to go through in silence or admit whilst incorrect. Killing ego/delight isn't the respond. awareness it and not giving into is fundamental you prefer ego for self-identity and excitement for self-properly worth and appreciation.
