I'm pregnant and if I have a girl I want to name her Zaniyah Monet. Everybody thinks its so weird but I think its pretty and unique. What do you think?

Give your kid a break and give it a normal name. You'll mess with their development when you make them self conscious about little stuff like that.

Why don't you give her the name Zaniyah Monet, but come up with a nickname for Zaniyah and call her by that?
Zana, Zani, or Anyah might sound cute.
That way, she still would get the name you want, and it would still be a unique name like you want, but would be an easier name to pronounce and for people to remember.

Zaniyah Monet is a very unique name. It is not weird at all. I think that many people might think it's weird at first but they will get used to it. If you want any more name ideas go to babynamesworld.com

i like it alot. it flows and works together. i think though that it would be too long of a name for a child so call her monet or zaniyah.

I like Zaniyah...the Monet doesn't quite fit in my opinion.

Zaniya is nice. Change Monet to Monaye. Monet sounds like a French male artist.

I really like Monet but there are much nicer names out there and I don't like Zaniyah.

Honestly, you could do better. It's unique, but not really what you would picture "pretty". I think if you changed the middle name to something less bizarre it wouldn't be that bad. My middle name is Sabra. It's unique and sounds kind of exotic. Try something like that. Whatever the name, I'm sure your daughter will be lovely! Congratulations.
