I'm not. I know of no rock bands from my borough whatsoever. You have to venture out of my bit of London if you want to find some. This makes the following video, my borough's biggest contribution to music:

sarah - That's similar to me. London as a whole has a great music scene, it is just my area that seems to have the issues grasping good music, hehe.
Jakex :] - I just got an image in my mind of Amish gangstas listening to hardcore..haha.

Boston has had a reletively steady out put of good music over the years: The Pixies, Boston, J. Geils Band, The Cars, Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads), Rob Zombie........
the scene is a little dry at the moment (many of the record companies have scooped up the best talent)......but it will pick up

Well, I live out in the ghetto...of amish country in Northern Indiana. LOL. And we have a huge hardcore music scene. And the biggest band from the area is Kingston Falls. So I'm pretty happy with my area.
Sucks for Menka.
Edit: Haha, there probably are a few of them out here.

Well, I'm from Brooklyn, NY, so you really don't wanna know what comes out from my area! (I mean, my friends make rap videos!)
You already saw the Jeffrey Lewis video right? Well, that's what I'll say is from my area (different borough, but much better). There's a pretty big indie rock scene in Manhattan and Williamsburg, Brooklyn has recently been growing from a industrial area into an indie musician haven, and they do have pretty good indie stuff there, so I guess I'm proud of what's coming out of there (but not near my home!).

Nope ~ no musicians from round here as far as I know. But....
My mum works at a school in Highgate, just across the road from Parliament Hill School ~ which gave the world Ms Dynamite, and up the hill is Highgate Boys ~ attended by the lead singer of Razorlight.
Parliament Hill also used to have certain a Drama teacher... comedian Dawn French.

Hmm, let me see....
I live in Tamworth, staffordshire - home of Bob Catley from Magnum and Blaze Bayley (wolfsbane and one time singer with iron maiden.) Biggest thing at the moment is rock band "lost in vegas"
Currently in the news because the first person to be voted off x factor (kimberely) lives in our village, and Nicki from x-factor lives abou t two miles away and was a dinner lady at my godson's school.
that's about it really?
