I try not to wait until the 24th, but invariably find myself at some crazy, hectic department store desperately snatching up something for my brother and two more rolls of paper. I try to start looking for special things in September and October, finalize a list by November, and start shopping in earnest by Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving).

I haven't started it yet. I'm the kind of person who waits until December 23rd or 24th to start.

I usually start looking for things to buy at the first of November, and buying things around the middle of November, unless what I see for someone else is on a great sale, then I buy it and hide in under my bed or in the top of my closet.

2 days before x-mas
at least that's what my parents do and I probably wont start doing my own shopping untill I have a job and my license (5 months!!!) but if it were up to me, I would do it probably 3 weeks before x-mas.

Christmas shopping is already done and wrapped for my kids and my husband. I just need to shop for my parents now.
