Is this normal? i just bought my goldfish yesturday morning (7 fantails 3 black morres).. they were fine swimming aroud peacefully, i fed them last night goldfish pellets they werent to excited took them a while to realise their was food, the foods all gone so im guessing they ate it all, but this morning theyve been swimming around like crazy - they are all the same size pretty much and i have big castle in their aswell which they can hide in. is it normal for them to be swimming around really fast??

also i have a fluroscent light in my tank, is this bad for them to keep on for a long time? i no that they get scared even when i turn my room light on n swim into the castle to hide.. so is it beta to keep it off? do it bother them?

First, you should NEVER add 10 fish at once! And with that many fish, you need a 100 gallon tank. They are likely being poisoned to death by a major ammonia spike. Get smaller fish and only add a few at a time.
