Car, because along the way you could go see views and shop along the way.

for only 3 days, and if I read you right you need to go 1500 miles, fly, definitely.
by car, you're spending 22+ hours on the road (each way, if its also 1500 miles back).
train travel can be great, but it can have lots of delays; I doubt you'd make it back on time.
