Would a keystroke logging program also be able to see what was copy and pasted?

If I copy and paste letters to input, say, my password, rather than just typing it in, would that prevent a key logger from logging what I input as the password?

no, the key logger will only show ctrl-v and ctrl-c if you use the keyboard shortcuts. the copy and paste components won't show up.
