I have 2 mollies, and 3 cory catfish. I currently feed them on tropical flakes and sinking catfish pellets, but what else can I feed them?

I mean vegetables etc.

What vegetables can I feed them?

And in regard to frozen bloodworms etc...how do you feed these? Open a block and put it in, or defrost it first?

Thanks!

So the only foods that need to be cooked are peas and lima (or butter) beans? Cucumber can be put in raw?

How long do I leave it before removing uneaten bits? A few hours?

bigfuzzysquirrelsnuts - my cat doesn't understand that giving her a treat is anything special (particularly dim-witted cat), does it mean I shouldn't give her something tasty and different once in a while?

I've always thawed the frozen worms in a small container of tank water, then added as much as I want to give them (some of my tanks have had too few fish for an entire cube). This allows the worms to circulate better throughout the tank, so everyone gets a fair chance at them, not just the biggest bullies that crowd the rest out of the way.

As far as veggies, try slices of cucumber, zucchini, cooked peas and lima beans with the outer skins removed, or pieces of dark leafy greens (romaine, collard, spinach, etc.), or dried seaweed/nori. Some of these will need weighted down by a few pieces of gravel or held with a feeding clip.

There is no such thing as feeding fish treats. They don't know what a treat is other than just some more food.
