I would love for my children to have an African last name, but I do no know where to find information on names or even a list of names.

Their father is African American and his last name came from his ancestor’s slave master so I would like for our children to have a different last name.

Look up both African and the country of origin. It would mean more if you knew the country and ethnic group. Not just any 'African' name.

You can't just change your childrens last names. If you were so desperate for an African last name you should have married an African. DUH.

Sorry, you can pick middle names and first names, but not last names.

go to the internet and look up AFRICAN NAMES......or AFRICAN LASTNAMES........plain and simple
why is it that you want your kids to have an african lastname anywways............a lastname is something passed on from generation to generation..........I think that you are confused
