I'd contact your bank about trying to reclaim payments if nothing shipped.
http://www.ripoffreport.com/searchresults.asp?q1=ALL&q4=&q6=&q3=&q2=&q7=&searchtype=0&submit2=Search!&q5=Blue+Hippo+
LOTS of people had problems by look sof it.

Contact DELL direct ask if they DEAL with Blue Hippo . . . . if they do, contact blue hippo and chase, if they say "We keep gettings these calls and NO we don't" contact bank

Also check the small print, seen other comments online about them not shipping till you paid 6 weekly payments.

P.S. They're also being investigated for misleading advertising, and have numerous complaints against them for non delivery of stuff.

Blue Hippo advertises they are a company can provide computers for people who are generally considered a credit risk. They advertise they have a policy they will ship the computer after they confirm you have made 6 consecutive payments over 6 weeks. See http://www.bluehippo.com/customerServ.asp

After that, once you receive your computer, you need to continue to make payments for the rest of the year.

If you have completely paid off your computer, you should call Blue Hippo and get verification of a shipping number. If you have missed a payment, you are at risk of losing all the money you put and need to work it out honestly.

I'm not sure if they're legit or not, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to go to the Better Business Bureau website and file a grievance. Alot of times, this will get you more results than calling the company.

Most companies don't want the bad publicity on their record with an outside agency.

I successfully filed against a dealership that sold me a PT Cruiser that should've had the brakes replaced. I bought it when I was about 8 months pregnant and they sold it to me with bad brakes...I got $300 in the mail after having to have brakes and rotors replaced.

A co-worker of mine did the same thing when she had a problem with a Nissan dealer here.

It seems to work.

I really hope you didn't get ripped off.

I havn't heard anything about the company myself but I would recommend calling both Dell and Blue Hippo and finding out what's going on :) It could just be that your order has been misplaced or there's a backlog or something simple like that.

Good luck!

Stop any further payments and write to them and tell them. Tell them also that you will reinstate the payments when the item has been received and is in good working order. This will prompt a rapid response.
A nice little ploy is to put at the bottom of the letter Copy sent to so and so SOLICITORS and trading standards.

why didn't you go to dell direct?
as dell will not ship until they are fully paid
call dell up and see if they even have you order via blue hippo
