My neighbors teenage sons were shooting birds with a be be gun. I made a comment to a coworker about how stupid people are for senseless killings of animals, when they have a hard enough time just surviving, I wish all guns where ban. That's when he asked me that question. I would very much like to come back with the answer.

New Zealand has very strict gun control laws. In order to own a hand gun you have to be a member of a shooting club, and it can only be stored at the club. The police do interviews with family and neighbors before giving a person a permit to own a weapon.

France for sure but I believe most of the western European countries have very tight gun control laws. Only hunting rifles and shotguns are allowed.

And if your co-worker responds by saying that Western Europeans are oppressed, ask him how come they're not flocking to our borders asking for refugee status?

France, I don't think we should be called oppressed or Third world country. To go hunting, you must have a permit and many birds are protected by a european law (voted in 1979 if I'm not mistaken).

I thought it was also forbidden in Australia?
