Arts and crafts. Also try JoAnn.com Another suggestion call Staples, and stores that may be selling the type of machine you want. Check and see if they are able to tansfer pictures to paper. Ask if they have ever tried to do it on cloth and all they can say is yes or no. If they say yes, you know where to go. If they say no, ask them if they would be willing to give it a try. You could tape the material to a cardboard to make sure the cloth would not slip. Please let me know how you make out.

Actually the iron on is the best. I found that the printer fabric was more of a pain than it was worth. You can buy the transfer paper even at Walmart.
All you have to do is put the paper in a lazerjet printer just like you would regular paper, and print it... iron it... and pull off the back cover, gently.,.. presto, you are done. I absolutely LOVE this iron on method!!!
Good luck

You may already know this. But you can make iron on transfers from your computer printer also. There are papers for transfers for light fabric and transfers for dark fabric.(make sure to follow directions about when pictures need to be flipped) I made a quilt for my daughter with pictures of her friends using the transfer paper for light fabrics. It turned out very well. I am putting together a senior album quilt for my son and I'm going to try the printer fabric this time.

I have used June Tailor Fabric Sheets available at JoAnn's, but they are quite stiff. I prefer the Printed Treasure Fabric Sheets available at most quilt stores. Just ask for them at the counter. They don't always have them displayed. You can print any picture from your computer to your printer at home. Then you remove the backing and sew the picture into your quilt.

I don't know any other way. As mentioned before, this is a huge project that takes a long time. It's usually a once in a lifetime project. Why not make him just a pillow with one picture on each side?
