I think the Iraqi people are the only ones who could actually answer that with any accuracy

There is apparently some pacification in Baghdad now. It's likely due to the fact that people have segregated themselves into neighborhoods based on religion and ethnic group as well as the counterinsurgency "surge" of troops to the Baghdad area.

They made Iraq better.They made sure they didn't have nukes.They removed a dictator.They made national elections.I could go on and on all day.
