God certainly isn't kicking up his heels with delight over our world today... I find it increasingly difficult to keep telling myself that "tomorrow will come the same as today, not matter what happens or who gets elected." My biggest problem is the fact that as a country we have become too complacent. It's "easier" to sit back and let someone else do it." Well, one day we will all wake to a foreign world and cry wondering whatever happened to the lives we loved. It will be too late then. When our Supreme Court in the U.S. began making 'law" instead of interpreting the Constitution as it applies to law, things started to spiral, become disjointed and a quagmire. But how do you fix something as monstrous as that? You cannot impeach a Supreme Justice unless it's for criminal offenses. You can hardly vote our crooked Representatives out of office, they are too well-connected and have too much money. You can't exactly take things in your own hands and become a vigilante... It's a strange place we are at right now, a crossroads of sorts, with no clue how to remedy our human condition...

We must still try and find the inherent goodness that lies beneath the surface. We need to focus on what is right and what works and take one tiney step at a time. This is what I would suggest for you. Find something that makes you feel passionate. Read about it, ACT on it, talk with someone about it, join a group of like-minded individuals. Find something in your life to be happy about. Family? Friends? A roof over your head? A job? Focus on that and try to be the best you can be.

Take a long walk with yourself and try to understand why you are feeling this way. Decide on a course of action to help you over it. Take a walk tomorrow WITH someone. If you look outside of yourself to the suffering of those around you, you may feel compelled to help them, and in doing so, you will be helping yourself. It will do your heart and soul good. Even if it's deciding to volunteer at an animal shelter. They need kindness and compassion too. And ask for nothing in return.

I wish you God's love and a better tomorrow. God bless America, the country I love.

oh...Hon.... you sound so sad. I'm sorry you feel empty. You aren't you know...just feeling blue and alone. I know that feeling myself. Just like there is no one who really knows me near. It is strange that sometimes we crave solitude and when it is achieved, we find ourselves hating it and wonder where every one else is....never happy and always seeking...sometimes I find peace in swirling in the mists of the cosmos with cosmiccoyote or dancing in spirit with the atheists like 8 Track. Friends are actually more the cure for emptiness rather than lovers. Find yourself some friends and swirl or dance in a circle with them. It helps every time...
