In reality we go for what works. Mathmatical solutions help with most all material activity in that so far it has worked to develop the creative side of our natures. If it works for some but not for you does that mean it doesnt work?

Yes, it is true. Even the great masters used mathematics to design their paintings.
Also mathematics is logic and in life one should be logical as well as know that there is a logical sequence of events when the ball starts rolling.

maths can be applied to anything - it gives a lot of people something to do - to work with numbers and 'educate' people. fundamentally the world is as it is and there are a lot of things beyond maths that even the human being cannot comprehend.

therefore your question is untrue - maths cannot add up or subtract or mulitply or even divide emotions and the trrue human states of awareness - love, despair, angst, sorrow, happiness etc. it's fool's knowledge

so sorry - become an electrician instead of an einstein

true. There is seriously far too much that you could write on this queery. Just think of all of the things that run & occur via use of mathematics. You could also state, however, that chemistry is a massive part of this...it is a branch of mathematics & science.
