Anyone read/used the book by Jeffrey Fox, Don't Send a Resume:And Other Contrarian Rules to Land a Great Job?

I am revising my resume for the 1000th time. The book by Jeffrey Fox was recommended reading. I already follow some of the "tips" that are listed in the book. I would like to know if anyone out there has "revised" their resume utilizing the book and what was the success rate. Thanks!
