Do something you don't normally do or think that you wouldn't like, but have never tried. Here are some suggestions:
1. Read
2. Watch an "educational" television show.
3. Fix something that is need of repair.
4. Turn your computer off and pretend it doesn't exist? Ask yourself what you can do.
5. Handwrite a letter to someone.
6. Engage in a conversation with someone in the house or on the phone.
7. Clean your room, garage, attic, or the basement.

Read a book.
Write a letter to an elderly relative. They'll love it!
Write a poem for a friend of yours & mail it to 'em.
Clean your bathroom (ick!)
Sort out old clothes you never wear & put into a bag for the poor.
Cook a new recipe that's healthy.
Make a surprise dish for dinner for your family tonight.
Look at all your old yearbooks & family pictures.
Learn how to count to 10 in 5 different languages!

My best ease of boredom is calling someone who is happy! That'll always shorten my day. Then I clean a closet, or bake something. Thanks for reminding me the long, cold winter months are upon us here in Nebraska! :(

make up dance to a song. its fun and its worth while( usually takes 1 hour to make a okay routine and learn it)
experiment with makeup( haha i could do that all day long)
