google adsense?

I'm looking into google adsense, is ther someone here that has got good results from it. I mean make good money?

Very few people make big money from Adsense.
Only those with really high traffic sites and geared towards advertising - sending people on to other sites - will do any good.
If you have an average site, don't expect to make much.

I make EXCELLENT money from the program. I have been with Adsense since June 2003, and my first month alone earned $500+ and second month was $1,200+. And income has grown every month since then.

Some sites do very well with Adsense (even in the millions of dollars a year) while many more sites do extremely poorly with the program (can't even earn $10 a month). One of the misconception people have about Adsense is they simply slap it in their websites and it will automatically earn them big money -- which is not true as evidenced by the many disgruntled webmasters

Your income will depend on:

- the topic of your site (if you have high paying keywords you stand to earn more)
- responsiveness of users to ad (are visitors coming to your site with blinders in their eye or do they look at the ads as additional complementary resource)
- traffic (you earn more with more traffic, even if you have low paying keywords or other metrics)
- how you implement the ads on your site (some positions and colors work better than others)

I suggest you look at the Adsense Success Stories and study the type of topic, think of the visitors they attract, and look at how they optimize the placement of ads

Well I have to somewhat disagree with some of the responses that you have gotten so far.

The adsense program is a great legitimate way to make money online.

So what do you mean by "good" money? I assume enough that you could live on without having to have another job.

But what about earning any type of money with the Adsense program. Adsense's minimum payout - meaning how much you have to earn to get a payment the next month - is $100. Would even being able to earn $100 be worth having adsense ads on your site(s)? Besides once some people start to earn money with adsense it just wets their appetite more to make more money with the adsense program.

I have adsense on my blogs and sites and so far I have been able to make the $100 minimum each month that is needed to get an adsense payment the next month - so far this year.

Would even getting $100 a month be worth it? I think that it would - seeing that it involves you just having ads on your site for visitors to click on. It definitely beats those other "make money online" programs.

I myself earn over $100 per month with adsense and each month it gets bigger. Its how much you know about SEO and linking, to get traffic and search engine rankings. If you have the will to learn the internet income will follow.
