I've had lots of great vacations, but my # 1 is Kenya & Tanzania. Did a 4 week camping safari. I am an animal lover & to see them all was unbelievable to me. Like watching national geographic. The highlight of the trip was watching the migration of the wildebeast & Zebra crossing the Mara River. 2 million wildebeast & 500 thousand zebra.

I know my answer is not directly related to your question....
I'm from a beautiful Asian island situated in the Indian ocean called "Sri Lanka". It is a paradise isle & is a great holiday destination. But I don't think very many people know about it.
Nope, I'm not in the travel trade & have no idea about promoting tourism.
I just want people all over the world to know about my country. I've attached a few links, just take a look....

Las Vegas because
- I got beamed aboard the Enterprise
- I got to kiss Nic Cage
- I found some S&M porn
- I saw some amazing shows
- I petted a dolphin
- I had excellent steak (Wollensky's and Smiths)

My favorite vacation was to Miami, Florida. I spent time at a hotel on the beach. Pretty simple, but everything is close by....lots of fun.

I stay in the mountains, so going to the mountains isn't lots of a holiday.. i like going to the coastline although. Myrtle coastline or Hilton Head SC and old San Juan, Puerto Rico =)

An "educational" trip to Prague that had something to do with my art foundation course I can't think what it was cos we hardly got any work done cos we all got blotto including the teachers we went with.

The Maldives- gorgeous, remote and something different!
Expensive but worth every penny.

My favourite holiday was Bali. I learnt to dive there and it was an amazing experience. I recommend it!

Where are you starting? I have to tell you, one of my favorite places is Ireland. Friendly people, great pubs, castles, history....and Guinness.
