All the hated of capitalism that inspires socialists and communists, leads people to places they may not have intended to go- do you think the Bolshevicks who placed communist dictators in control, expected Stalin to murder more people than Hitler? The Cubans who supported Fidel, expect that he would seize their posessions and make them prisoners in their own country?
Maybe the liberals who are trying to desparately overthrow the USA, way of life, to make us socialists, should consider that it may turn out very, very bad?

The libs get so upset when you point out that they are socialists, don't they? I won't go so far as to say communists, but everything that Hillary talks about is straight out of the socialist play book. The system that has failed everywhere it has been tried.

You and I know how bad some think capitalism is. However, they are following the dreams and the promises heard without being educated as to how getting control, as Castro did, works.
Yes, it would turn out very negative to the extreme. I don't believe in pure capitalism any more than I believe in pure socialism. As a moderate conservative, I believe in the compassion we should hold for the disabled who are unable to work, whether it is a mental or physical disability. I believe we should be assured our elderly are respected and cared for, I also hold that our veterans who fought to keep us free, should never have to be homeless.
I fear the expansion of the social programs we already have or the addition of new programs. Enough is enough!
It seems the liberals have certainly changed since the days of John Kennedy to become more extreme. Just from some of the things I read here and on other forums. It looks they they hold more and more to a socialist agenda. How far would they go? Democratic socialism is just around the corner from communistic socialism.

That reads like Sunday morning hangover logic.
If Cubans are prisoners then the World is their prison.
IIRC only the US has a no go policy with Cuba. And at the same time gives instant fugitive status to any and all Cubans on arrival to the US.
Check out the numbers and the procedure for Cubans entering the US through Brownsville Texas. It takes less than one hour to become a US citizen if you say your Cuban.
So fly from Tehran to Veracruz Mexico buy a box of Cuban cigars, take a bus to the border and walk right in.

I think Carl Marx said that Religion is the opiate of the masses.
Communism may be considered the opiate for the intellectuals.
Communism maybe considered as a Religion that denies a Supreme Being.
Since its triumph in 1917 in Russia, many countries have flirted with communism.
In the Universities communism was or is popular with students until they graduate and have to pay for everything.
Government has proven that it can't give anything to the people until it first takes it away from them in the form of money.
Castro is one of a long line of leaders that came to power promising to give people everything for free.
Slogans and cliches bring protesters together and stops the mind from thinking

Plenty have left.
At first it was supporters of the Batista dictatorship, Batista's torturers, his secret police, and the wealthy who were privileged under the fascist dictatorship.
Then it was Cuban convicts. After the vile and immoral US embargo, economic migrants left.
Cubans have only known Fascism and Communism. And they know that the latter is a million times better than the former.

You're wrong to connect liberalism to communism. That would be the same if I said Neoconservativism is FAcism. Both statements are wrong. Communism is left of Liberalism, and Fascism is right of Neoconservatism. Liberals like me believe in Capitalism, but don't believe in false capitalism (no bid contracts, monopolies) like Neoconservatives do. We also believe there is a place for the Commons (Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness) and you too use them. (Police, Roads, Sewage, Electricity if you're in the South where the Ecompanies refused to put Electricity in)

Communism IS HORRIBLE.
But apparently, the so called "progressive" American liberals (Liberals are really oppressive. IE- food, thought, action, speech and body police.) love communism and adore dictators.
