Ok i have changed my calipers on my 2006 jeep liberty but for some reason the breaks are still weak. The pedel goes about half way to floor before they work. I have bleed the breaks 3 times now and have not seen air come out. Now the way I did it was my wife pushed or pumped breaks and she held them down. Id open the screw and let the flow come out and close it and she would let go of the break. This process was repeated about 8 times on each caliper. If there is something i missed please let me know.

you have to gravity bleed hose to get the best results on them if not they will do this all you need to do is open a bleeder and place a clear hose on the bleeder and let it run in to a clear container then close it off and do all the wheels like that ,with anti lock brakes you don't pump them to bleed them, you gravity bleed them, always.it takes a while to do this, try that you should get your pedal back up on it,but do all the wheels starting from the right rear first, and don't let the master go dry at any time, good luck on it.

Just wondering, is your car out of warranty already? Check and make sure that you are responsible for the repair first. I also highly recommend you to take your car to the professionals because the brake system is safety issue and a poor repair can lead to a disaster. If you know what you are doing, you have 2 options. First, you have to bleed all 4 brake calipers. There is a good chance that the air might have gotten into the other brake lines. While your wife push down and hold the brake pedal, and you have to crack the bleeder screw for about a second or two. Tighten the bleeder screw. Then release the brake pedal. Hold down pedal > open bleeder > close bleeder > release pedal. You have to repeat these steps until solid stream of the brake fluid comes out of the bleeder. Also, you have to make sure the master cylinder is full at all time. Keep adding fluid while you bleed. Finish one caliper and move to next one. Usually, start from RR (furthest one) then finish with LF. Second, if bleeding all 4 calipers didn’t fix the problem, take it to a shop. You probably have internally leaking master cylinder, air trapped inside of the ABS actuators, or frozen caliper brackets/sliders. Remember, if you are not sure what you’re doing, take it to professionals. It can save money in long run or someone’s life.

before you got to the bleeding part, When changing the calipers, did you also change the brake pads? Did you clamp off the brake line hose on each wheel ?
When depressing the brake plunger back into the cylinder, the reverse flow back to the master cylinder can mess up your ABS system. Open the bleeder when depressing the plunger.
Bleed from passenger rear, left rear, passenger front, left front.
making sure the master never get low on fluid.
If your pedal is still spongy, take it to a brake shop.

if you let the master resevoir drain down whe you changed you calipers then you find that you may have an air lock up front . if your vehicle have abs braking system . i suggest start of bleed the two pipes that come out from the master cylinder to the abs pump first , next you got the four pipes at at the abs unit (had build in pump as well ) . start to bleed each pipe to get rid of air lock and old contaminated fluid ,once done then you have to bleed your brake calipers in sequence .front first ; if you bleed the left front then the next will be right rear (back) .same as right front first the the next will be left rear (back) . now hopefully it should good brake

AsSalamu Alaikum your rapid can only be void in case you purposefully make it so, and that i'm guessing you're no longer partial to the style of blood on your throat. So now which you already know what happens you should attempt your suited to steer away from letting blood on your abdomen. Bleeding does even with the undeniable fact that harm wudu, yet no longer your rapid (the 1st ramadan replaced into stated throughout the conflict of badr.)

When you bleed the brakes make sure you pump the brake pedal slow and try bleeding the rear brakes first (right rear than left rear) than move to the front right first than the left. good luck..
