Hardly never. I'm one who was raised with the notion that honest is always the best policy and raised my own 2 boys to believe in the same thing.
Honesty can sting sometimes as it is not always what people want to hear. But what would be worse, lie and tell them what they want to hear or tell them the truth and explain your reasoning?
Honesty can be a learning experience for those who are used to being lied to all the time.
I always say honesty first. If you cannot say something honest and have a reason behind it just be quite!!!

I guess it averages about once every 2 weeks. It's usually with my boyfriend. I used to live with him and his 2 daughters (ages 22 and 20) so I know them very well. When he talks about them now, I know damn well he is lying and try not to say a word, but he can see in my face that I don't believe him. How can 2 girls hooked on herion be doing, "Just fine, keeping the house clean now that you're not there to do it and looking for jobs."??

Ooh try and stay away from that, lol. If she says "do these jeans make me look fat or tell me what you are thinking" it isn't honesty it is stupidity to answer . Just back out of the room and tell her she is beautiful
