don't they know that they could do something better with their lives? do they feel "accepted" if they join a gang? or do they just want to be bad? i'm also tired of going to school with graffiti gang signs on them...i think it's just so silly and idiotic!
and WHY do they beat up people? do they get some sort of "joy" out of doing so?

what has this world become of? :(

Many people who join gangs tend not to come from stable backgrounds with stable families. A gang, with its intense loyalty to its members and aura of brotherhood, can often replace the family unit. I don't think it's a case of wanting to be bad as wanting to belong.

because mass culture is always en vogue
because it is easier and it makes people feel secure
but it is just an illusion
only loners can think in a rational* way
groups tend to support each other in their irrationalities, in their hurting other people without ever analyzing if what they did was wrong or right
*with reason and heart
