If you are on the pill and you get pregnant without realising (by missing a few days of pills or something) do you carry on having your monthly period or does it stop like it does when you get pregnant normally?

it stops and so you should see your doctor, read the instructions that you get with them they should help. Your doctor also should have explained this to you

You period usually stops, or can be very light for about 3 month. The easiest time to get pregnant is when the pill is stopped or skipped abruptly.

When you find out you're pregnant (pills don't hurt the baby) stop taking the pills. You should not have a period until after you're done nursing your child, though a bit of spotting, especially the first month is acceptable.

It depends. I stopped right away but a friend of mine had her period six months into her pregnancy. Taking a test a few days before your period and then following up with a doctor are you best bets.

It depends on the time when you get pregnant, you might have some small spotting with implantation bleeding, but it will be a darker brown looking blood, you shouldn't have your period if you are pregnant though.

There is a chance that you can keep having your period but, the pill can cause you to have miscarriage as it is works with hormones in your body.

Colud go either way.
Some women have light periods during pregnancy, others don't.
Stop taking the pill though, firstly.
See your doctor too, if you haven't already, to confirm the pregnancy
Congratulations !!

I have known women who had a period for a couple of months after they got pregant. I don't think it usually works this way, but I know for a fact that it can.

It should stop like it does when you get pregnant. If you think you are pregnant you need to stop the birth control now, it can cause problems!
