I'm wondering if it is harmful to hold in urination until i'm really really desperate, coz i usually do that.

It comes out way to fast for my control - it goes everywhere. Why does urine also come out faster when you sit down ?? because i sit down sometimes to avoid some mess

First of all, holding your urine until you almost explode is not good for you. It stretches and weakens the muscles and can cause permanent damage. Second if you sit down you put more pressure on an already full bladder and therefore cause the urine to flow faster.

It can be harmful if you hold it in a REALLY long time. I'd try to go more often if possible.

When you sit down you're bringing your legs up and compressing you abdomen a little, which puts more pressure on your bladder.

Your bladder is like a baloon. The longer you hold it and more accumulates, the more pressure there is on the bladder to force it out. When you sit, the is also more pressure put on the baldder.

I don't know much about this subject, but I will tell you that holding it isn't good and can result in UTIs.

No. Actually, it's good for your prostate to excercise those muscles that help you hold it in. Just don't overdo it.
