Yes, I am only 19 years old. I haven't gotten my period since August 2007 and now it's already in the month of November! I know I'm not pregnant, that's for sure. Can someone tell me what is wrong with me? Am I sick?

that happened to me once when i was 18 (i'm 19 now). if you're sure you aren't pregnant it's most likely caused by stress, a change in diet, or a change in physical activity.

if you started working out a lot and hadn't before than that is the problem (stopping to exercise won't change your periods though).

if you went on a strange diet since then than that is the problem.

if you're freaking out about something in your life than that could also be a cause.

when your body recognizes some strange changes it thinks that there is something wrong and tries to prevent you from being able to have a baby. (if you're dieting it might think you don't have enough food to feed a baby, if you're exercising it might think you're in physical danger, and if your stressed it might think you're mentally unstable----think cave man times and it makes sense).

if none of these things seem like an immediate
"OH YEAH, DUH, THAT MUST BE IT"
then you need to see a doctor because it could be anything else and it could be very serious.

also, if you didn't start your period until later in life than most girls do (16 or 17 years old) then your body is probably going through stabilizations still and is changing naturally...but you should still see a doctor to find out what's up.

You're stressed, or your hormones are a little out of balance. If you're worried about it, clal your dr. I think you're probably okay.

Stress is a big culprit. That throws things off in one's body. No you are not sick. To be safe, go and talk to your doctor.

You really should get to the Dr. for some blood work, it could be your hormones. Good luck!
