mine did that wen it was running low on battery. i just turned it on charged it up and powered it up again and it worked fine

I know on my laptop i can push a button and the mouse doesn't move so look for something like that

Does it still not move when you restart your computer? Then it could be that your touch pad have gone bad.... need a little more info.

i would try restarting my computer first.. if that dosent work try reinstalling the drivers for the mouse hardware your computer uses. goodluck

allyou can do is let the laptop rest and mabe you can connect a mouse to it.
