I've been a marketing professor for 28 years. What you suggest is certainly possible, since most of what one would take in an associates program would be general education requirements. The only thing I might suggest, since you still have Spring semester left to go, is to talk to your counselor to make sure you have taken the required math for a business program. I know that our students in liberal arts only have to take one math class, while business majors need to take two, and that the level of the business math is more advanced than that for liberal arts majors. Since math is often required as a prerequisite for things like accounting or finance, you could fall behind on your schedule if you needed to catch up on your math as a junior. The other thing, although this is often more flexible, would be economics. Again, our students need to have taken both micro and macroeconomics (usually as freshmen), so your counselor should be able to tell you about the requirements at the school you are considering and advise you on whether or not you can do this in Spring, if you haven't already taken it. Otherwise, you should be fine. You may need to take a summer class or two if the sequences of courses at your university make it hard to finish the business program in two years, but since accredited schools require a fair amount of liberal arts included in the business program, you will find that you are probably not too far off-schedule if you decide to do this.

It relies on what you desire to do someday. If you intend on incomes a bachelor's measure in anything like Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, a international language, Communications, Art, Political Science, History, or English, then I could say opt for the Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts. If you intend on incomes a bachelor's measure in industry, or in the event you plan on finishing an companion's measure and being performed with tuition, then I could say opt for the Associate's Degree in Business.
