Great answers so far, keep them coming!!
It's not about me and my belief in conspiracies, it's sort of a poll, but some of you have the right idea, and I'm grateful.
"Conspiracy" is a pretty broad term, and some of the questions I used for examples refer to our System of systems rather than specific groups intentionally conspiring. In some cases, it is required behavior in society. The effect on us is whether we choose to imagine making it different through some action of our own, or to simplify our lives and let someone else worry about it (Putting faith in someone, something, or Systems of systems, either intentionally or blindly.)

I still seek answers to: purpose of life, existence of God, govt. corruption, corporate power, poisons in the env., lack of nutrition in food, and failure of science to find answers.
I've given up on: exterrestrial visitations, peak oil, peak economy, 9/11 commission coverup, and Iraq war reasons (or I never got into them)! Too stressful to pursue!

If you really are interested in truth then you better be willing to give up every belief you ever had for the barrier to truth is to think you know. No one needs to tell you about goodness, or compassion or love. In fact truth is the stillness of the perfect now and the boundless realization of self-as love. Truth is also the infinite web of potentialities that are mapped onto reality however one must learn to discriminate between magical and mythical rubbish and the real. Be wary of false profits authorities and dogmatists. Find out for yourself. If you take love and kindness as your cue and an open and questioning mind you will not look back. There is a perfect omnipresent now alongside an infinite web of context that is self in world. Find the still point and at the same time explore that infinite web of textures and context that are your world but do it with Love, compassion and goodness.

I can handle more truth than anyone else I know. The only purpose in life is what I create. No gods exist, since holy books are filled with childish ignorance and glaring contradictions. Planets that might have intelligent life are much too distant for any creatures from them to visit us. Government is inherently corrupt, so get over it. Science working with Philosophy is finding answers much better than anything else can. I do not heed silly conspiracy theories at all. The rest of these items are beyond my field of study, and I do not worry about them. Dirty Harry said that a wise man knows his limitations.

I can't believe people think of any of this stuff. How could
you even function with this flotsam and jetsam banging
around in your brain. People's energy should never be
concerned with what may happen. Pay attention to your
own life and in living well be an influence on others. Of
course, it depends on what kind of person you are. I'm
an artist and on a complicated day, I think about the
spacial relationships between objects on a canvass...
or whether to use cadmium red in small or large
qualtities. OH...but I admit I do think of what will
happen if I continue to be this blissfully ignorant of
worldly garbage, and I've always eaten organic.

You never stop learning. You learn something every day. What you choose to do with what you learn is the real question. I love to be informed. Knowledge is power. If it's political, then you know who to vote for or who not to vote for. As for the Iraq war, I believe that I don't know all the information that the President had when he made his decision to go to war. I don't feel right to make a judgment, when I don't know all the reasons the decision was made.

I'm in constant conversations with friends in a quest for truth and understanding.
Lately, it's been more in understanding the thinking according to our point of reference.
It seems society is so laden with inconsistencies and contrasting principles.
i.e. war and peace, prochoice vs prolife, love and hate
some subjects are so controversial that most people won't bother with an opinion out of fear.

what do you mean when you say 'truth'?
is "corporate power?" (for example) a question?
from your list of examples it sounds as if you are seriously into conspiracy theorising.
the wonderful think about conspiracies is that one can go on asking the questions forever (and in most cases the answers would make no difference, even if they were found).
what do you think about the implications of the goedel incompleteness theorem?
are you even interested in knowable truths?

Well one thing I use to ask myself is that what capabilities I have to change things? What differences at all I can make by feeling unsatisfactory, angry, sad or irritate by this imperfect world? Don't you think its merely useless or a waste of time to question or debate all sorts of wrongs? sometimes things just can't be bothered with... I'll just tell myself to obey the rule of reality, in other words yeah.. just give up and go play, this sentence suits in perfectly...
