The retailers start advertising the day after Halloween. Wal-Mart was the first. I will not be rushed. The only I might to do to prepare for Christmas right now is start planning my the lights for my house. I put them up the date after Thanksgiving.

Go straight to Christmas. It's the most financially draining holiday we have. Sometimes I just want to run off to the bar and be a missing person. I have a very large family and on a limited income. I'm single and it really takes a lot out of me.

According to Costco we should of skipped Haloween too and went right to Christmas. No Haloween or Thankgiving decorations but the Christmas stuff has been up since August.
