Would you feel the same way if the war was WWII, for example? How about the revolutionary war that gained us independence from England? Maybe you are too young to remember and maybe your school never taught you about the events leading up to the wars of history, but very few people questioned the necessity of us joining into many of these wars.
Therefore, I suspect that the point is more that you don't agree with this war, rather than a philosophical broad statement that there is NEVER a righteous reason to send out children to war.
And, yes, I do believe that abortion is wrong.

Abortion isn't humorous, and neither is the suppression of a lot of human beings, and terrorism in different aspects of the international. Do you recognize the way many little ones were murdered by technique of the Taliban, Al Qaeda, and Saddam Hussein? Did you also keep in mind that our protection force are adult volunteers? Spreading an ethical democracy around the world is sweet and merely. i understand lots of the Iraqi human beings and they are fairly grateful for our help. they pick the freedom we relish, and they have lost many loved ones below Saddam, they were uncovered in mass graves. i'm satisfied we've a president and a protection force keen to face up adversarial to terror to keep us danger-free.

I agree...and their pick and choosing of which lives are important extend past war...a GOOD number of those guys are fierce gun rights advocates, and death penalty supporters. For the militant right to lifers, what seems to matter most is quantity over quality....they don't give a crap about a human being after they're born, as long as they're born. Hence, the thousands of kids that age out of the foster/adoption system each year. And the abusive parents that frequently adopt. (Know 9 kids who were adopted and are physically abused by their parents). As long as they're born, they've achieved their Christian "goals", and then when those kids who are on welfare years later because they were never given a good home life (or ANY home life) and never learned any life skills, they b* tch and moan about how Democrats support leeching off the system.

War and abortion are both a horrible waste of human life. They should be the last resort of any civilized person or nation.

I think they are under the impression that a fetus/baby can't protect itself and is innocent, whereas a full grown person has the free will to decide whether or not to join the military.
Or something like that.
I know, they're more concerned for the "unborn" than they are about the starving, neglected, and abused children who already exist.

When you think about it, wars are fought to "protect our way of life in America" -- the threat you hear is "we gotta fight in Iraq, otherwise we'll all be wearing burkhas (not a threat to our lives, but to our WAY of life...) -- and incidentally so we can go on driving gas-guzzlers and bossing other nations around. That's why war is PATRIOTIC!
A teenager who wants to go to college and finds herself pregnant also wants to protect her way of life -- her future -- but to the self-righteous pro-lifers, that's a SIN!
Hypocrisy, anyone?

its all down to interefence in others lifes. they like to meddle. and by sending our children to war they get to meddle in other countries. as simple as that. its not about living or dying, its about meddling where they have no right to meddle.
