First of all, definately go to the doctor if you can. If not, maybe try one last test at a clinic if you have one near you.
There are a lot of reasons for abnormal/missed menses...so don't freak out! The slightest hormonal imbalance can tip your cycle over the edge, especially if your body is used to being regular.
Check and see if there have been any other changes too...weight loss/gain? Things like that could be a sign that the hormones are going crazy. Stress can also cause you to miss...I had crazy midterms one year and missed my period two months in a row because of it. So don't stress out chica...get to the doctor whenever you can.

Um, he thinks you can't be pregnant due to "another story?" Not sure what that might mean, did he have a vasectomy? Is he sterile?
If it is unlikely that you are pregnant, according to him, is it because of a health issue you have? Again, not sure.
Regardless, there are reasons girls/women do not have periods:
menopause - doesn't sound like your case! :)
diet - are you eating enough? eating disorder?
pregnancy - uh, the obvious, I know
stress - impacts hormone levels
other medical issues - cysts, endometriosis for example
If your test came up negative, I would go to the doc and talk with them about how your regular periods have now become irregular. They can do some exploring with you about what might be causing this. I think it is time to find out.

There are many things that can cause you to skip or miss periods. Things such as increase or decrease in your daily activity excerises, a new diet, pregnancy - the most obvious , a medical problem which means you should go to the doctor for a check up, change in cultures/atmospheres, travelling and most of all stress of any kind. The more you stress about not having your period, the more likely you are prolonging it stressing your self out. So my advice go to the doctor, try and not stress your self out and it will eventually come soon.

Take another pregnancy test. More stress, weight gain/loss, diet change, change in medication, or any number of other things could be causing it. If the test comes up negative (well, or positive I guess), go see your doctor. You may have something going on down there. It's always better to be sure than wonder what could be going on.

It could be stress or sudden change in your diet or weight. My doctor received many a frantic phone call while I was in college....and usually it ended up being stress that screwed up my cycle. However, you should go in for a checkup just to be sure nothing is seriously wrong if this is the 2nd month in a row or the first time it's happened in your life.

Periods can delay because of...
1) Pregnancy, however, it IS possible to have a period DURING pregnancy.
2) Stress.
3) Not eating enough. I usually didn't get my period when I got a major illness and I lost my appetite.

Are you normally very regular, or has this been an issue before? Lots of things can cause you to be late, or miss one, like illness, change in diet, medications. But never think it's impossible-weirder things have happened!

it is possible that you r pregnant, a friend of mine took at least ten tests befor one showed up positive, and she was 3 months gone at that stage!! on the other hand you could have some sort of infection. best to get checked out by a professional to be safe.

Don't Worry! It all depends on whether or not you have had safe intercourse or not. If you haven't, then you are ok, there are such things as irregular cycles. Don't worry. If you want to get checked out, I give you the best regards for that. Just to be safe, you should get checked out. =]
