i dont know how to simplfy any of these:
sqrt(x^2 + 2)
sqrt(x^-2 + 2)
sqrt(1 - sqrt(1 - x))

The first one is in simplest form.

For the second one, put what's inside over a common denominator of x^2, then make it a fraction of two radicals, then simplify the denominator, which was the square root of x^2, to x.

For the third one -- hmm, that's a matter of taste. I'd say it's in simplest form already.
