ok when i type in ipconfig my information comes up but i can't like erase it,it won't let me

If you are in dos use ip release.

What are you trying to erase? And what exactly are you trying to do?
If you're trying to renew your IP address, try this:
IPCONFIG /RELEASE
IPCONFIG /RENEW
Don't be surprised if you get the same IP address, though. You usually will.
