Not to sound shallow or anything... But it was when I was younger, like 7 or 8. I always thought without me, the world wouldn't go 'round. But now... I know time waits for no one. If I die, everyone will continue to live their lives.

I'm a registered baby sitter and this part of childhood can hit at anytime, I had one boy who's mother was dating a guy but not in her house. When he would come over to her house the boy thought he came to visit him . Then one day , the boy realizes that he's not the one he came over for. He got so mad I thought he would explode, But from then on at age 6 he found he was not the center of the universe. I think I learned it about the same age.

not really, always enjoyed being the observer, never much liked a lot of attention. always preferred one on one conversations to groups. If the world suddenly did revolve around me, id hate it.

Not really, the truth is that I was forced to live in reality pretty quickly. Of course, this presumes you're not talking about the baby stage when that's true for everyone.

I used to think that when I was little also, it's not shallow it's because we did not know any better. It was kind of a let down when the truth came out wasn't it? It was for me? lol :)

Yes and no. I thought that everything was all set up for me, but I figured that if that were true, bad things wouldn't happen.

My husband loves to tell me...."It's not always about YOU Kim..."

And I say...."Oh yes it is..."

Then he says..."Yeah, you're right"....LOL
He even bought me a plaque that says...

"If Momma ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy"
And it's true.
