I'm thinking of studying electrical engineering. I have a 3.51 GPA, and SAT score of 2010. I'm in the science honor society, national honor society, and math honor society, and vice president of national honor society. I'm in the charity club, debate team, and ecology club. I've taken dance classes for 10 years, danced on stage MANY times, and singing lessons for 4 years and won first place when singing on stage. I was also a finalist for a vocab competition three times, and went to nationals once. I was also in this biology program where we've won national competitions. I was an intern at lockheed martin.
i've volunteered at a hospital, museum, and taught kids--and i have 300 community service hours. my short story was published once, as well as a scientific paper I've written.

what do you think? thanks.

Your GPA could definitely be higher but they may consider all of your community service and extracurricular activities. You should apply for some regular state schools as well so that you have a fall back plan.

Your probably fine.

Remember about the SAT that colleges only really look at critical reading and math.

All are possible -- none are a sure thing.

Cornell is possible, but unlikely. Your chances at Maryland or Va Tech are pretty good if you are a resident.

Was that GPA weighted or unweighted?

Either way, I think you can easily get into any of those schools.
