Lawrence Taylor probably worked out the best. He did pretty decent in his match against Bam Bam, although that kinda sucked that it was the WM main event and pretty much buried Bam Bam for good.
Worst, the first name that comes to my head is Mongo McMichaels, and it's not as much his terrible wrestling skills as much as he somehow became a member of one of the best stables ever. Without a doubt, the worst member of the Four Horsemen ever.

If you are talking professional football player (one who actually stepped on to the field as a NFL player) then that would be Goldburg. Ron Simmons played college ball and so did the rock. Neither could make it to the NFL. Now, Steve, Mongo McMicheals was the best NFL player that wrestled and could sustaing matches. LT was just a publicity stunt.

I would say the Big Cat Ernie Ladd was best with Manny Fernandez and Brian Pillman right behind. Mongo Michaels was the worst.

Dick the bruiser way back, meaniest ever. Probably the worst was Sable, but who watched for her wrestling skills? Sorry, forgot she didn't play football.
