I am having a problem when I try to get to any site, lets say Internet explorer. The site will load and a few seconds later it just disappears. Try to get it again, the same thing happens, It just disappears.
Just by pure luck I found that if I try to get Internet explorer with no add ons allowed I get a message that "I am currently running with add ons disabled". Then if I click on Home it goes to my home page on internet explorer and I am able to continue on without it disappearing.
This has me baffled,
I ran anti virus and spyware and everything looks ok.
Any answers out there?
Thanks in advance
Jim

For either IE6 or IE7, go to Tools, Manage Add-ons, then disable each individual addon. Restart IE7 and try some websites. Then enable each add-on, but one at a time, restarting IE after each new add-on is reenabled, and testing your favorite websites as you add back each add-on.

Reinstall IE7, it could be due to ActiveX hijack or data loss by malware. Assuming you mean : "The site will load and a few seconds later it just disappears.", as in it commences to download the information or attempt the connection but than closes suddenly. Or one of the add ons is preventing you from doing anything, so disable all of them except those that you know for example : Microsoft.
