I called planned parenthood, and they stated that I can get the morning after pill if I'm over 17. This sounds ridiculous, but can I get it since I'm 17?

Keep your legs shut unitl you're married and you won't need the services of the weird Planned Parenthood.

This should be against the law giving pills like this to minors, and they should be shut down by the authorities, with the owners and all of the employees arrested.

If you need it, yes, after that I would suggest talking to your physician about birth control pills-- a much more humane method of birth control.

Joe- though I agree that this specific drug shouldn't be handed out to any teen that feels it is ok to use for prevention, kids are going to have sex and if they have to get permission from their parents to get protection then they are not going to use it. If not for planned parenthood, we would be a much more over-populated country filled with kids that thrive on mcdonalds and the welfare system. I'd rather see planned parenthood stay up and this pill banned.

You may be able to get it if you have your parents permission. Typically if someone says over 17 that means 18 and older. If someone says 17 and over it would include those who are 17. So given what you said, no you can't get it because you aren't over the age of 18.

Yes, you can get it. If its truly what you want. You better get it soon. Its only administered within the first 72 hours. After that, they won't give it because its not affective anyway.

The morning after pill IS NOT a form of birth control. If you are sexually active, please use at least one form of birth control.
