Kind of. It has some nicknames like Chels I guess. Personally, and no offense, it is pretty much a name that really describes someone's look. I can imagine that any girl with the name Chelsea has either red, or brown hair, brown eyes, and is very preppy. In my opinion of course.

Nope...1st nobody knows how to pronounce it (I know, I live in Chelsea Woods)...is it chelsey or chelsa? 2ndly the name just sucks...well it's not horrible but there are a zillion gurl names better...plus the clinton kid is named chelsea...yikes is she scary looking...go with jennifer or sarah or emily

The name Chelsea is OK. I have heard a lot of ethnic and exotic names, so, to me, Chelsea is, well, bland.
