it's just division. 3/2 is 1.5 because 3 divided by 2 is 1.5! if you can't see it, make 3/2 a mixed fraction. that gets you 1 1/2 and 1 1/2 is 1.5

Just divide 2 into 3.0
2 goes into 3 once with remainder 1
Now 2 goes into 10 five times.
So answer is 1.5

You divide 3 by 2, numerator by denominator, to get 1.5/1 1/2...so on a calculator, you press 3, then the division sign, then 2, and then hit enter and the answer will be 1.5!
