We should all have passive nuclear/electric cars.
Nuclear thermoelectric generators can be used to produce electricity without the risk of radioactivity.
Your tires will rot off of your nuclear/thermoelectric powered car before the "battery" dies.
Of course people can use the cars to make dirty bombs, but, it would eliminate green house gases from automobiles!

what we drive has little to no effect on the environment. how we drive and how often we drive is far more important. mass transit where available helps greatly. carpools help. eliminating all those little trips to town or to the store helps. a little planning of your day helps. proper tire inflation by everyone would add over 3 mpg to the nations average mpg.
i am a democrat and i drive a 4 wheel drive truck but i drive as little as possible and only when necessary. i am disabled i can not comfortably drive an insight but if i could i would not. i will do my best to not kill any polar bears or kids. this is a lame way to try and take cheap shots at a political party. with a little effort you could do better. you want to help the environment? save a tree shut off your computer!!!!!!!

Many of the Democrats (and Republicans) I know ride bicycles and walk.
How many polar bears and kids have these people saved by "NOT driving a Haonda Insight, which gets 60 MPG"?

Are “Dems” the only people charged with responsibility for protecting the environment? Your concern for the environment should include all people, regardless of party affiliation.

You are trying to be funny regarding a global problem that I feel you don't think exists. You failed science class? I bet this is another ridiculous theory of yours you are telling your kids about. I feel sorry for them.

Too small for my family, but ideal for going back & forth to work, I guess. Are you driving one, or are you selling?

The left wing liberals' motto is: "Do as I say. Don't do as I do." Al Gore and his jet are world-class polluters.
