Recently i asked my uncle to give me an SD card for my mp4 player when he will go back to California. Unfortunately, i was glad that he bought me a Kingston 1Gb SD card which would give me extra memory for my mp4 player, but my excitement turned into a complete disappointment and frustration since when i tried to fit the SD card ,it won't fit into the device. There i realized that there's a watermark in the device's SD slot indicating that it requires a Mini SD...now i don't know what to do with the SD card coz it is useless now for mp4. I dont want to tell my uncle about it coz im sure he'd be disappointed for giving him the wrong info and he would feel that his efforts was in vain and he can't go have a replacement since he would have to travel for another 40 hours to go back to California. But now i'm anxious about it coz i don't want to just let the SD card go to waste. Now, i am thinking of buying a new mobile phone and hoping that there's a model that will suit my SD card.

I don't think there are mobile phones with SD card slot. All mobile phones i know use mini SD. However, if you don't have a digital camera, get yourself one. Many still use SD cards. Whatever you are buying, ask the vendor if your SD card will fit and try the SD card in the shop itself....

I'd just hang on to it for a little while, those SD cards are still pretty standard, and you will get something that you can use it with, (phone, digital camera, etc ) Just do what you're thinking now and include that thought when your deciding what model your buying.

I would sell it to someone with digital camera they take the regular size sd cards and use mony to buy mini sd card. Im sure u know plenty of people with digital cameras.
