And had sex with over 100 men, or women and the addiction was 15 years ago, and no longer an issue today, would you feel the need to know about it now, or would you feel better not knowing about it at all ..?? Should the person tell you about it, even if they have NO health problems as a result..??

It's bragging and probably making himself out to be a superman. Think of it this way...Being a woman what would a person think of you if you said you had over 100 partners?
They wouldn't put you up for Sainthood, right. A real gentleman would not put you in such an awkward postition
I call this a huge RED FLAG Huge

If the person can prove to you that they have NO health problems & has over come this problem, then leave the past in the past. Somethings are better not to know.

Yes, absolutely they should tell you about it! And sometimes health problems related to sex addiction don't show up for a long time. If that person loves you and you love that person, both of you should get thorough physical exams. I know a woman who has had genital herpes for more than 25 years and doesn't tell her partners she has it because she hasn't had symptoms for a very long time.

It can put a lot of people off knowing that. Me personally, i wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole, so in some cases it may be better not knowing, but you want to make sure they are not carrying any stds.

a relationship with a secret like that is doomed.. with my luck me and my guy would run into all one hundred guys at the mall.. first time out. stuff like that just comes out. it is better to be up front. if it was a few lovers.. prior to marriage.. or comittment i would say.. as long as you are healthy.. fine. but an addiction... can re-occur... (Hopefully it does not) i would have to know that my mate would still love me for myself at this present time,.

It would be nice to know. Better to know before hand than find out later on you're own. That could cause problems...

To keep this short and sweet I like to know my lovers history, because it tells who they are and where they came from and what they've been through...

I'd like him to tell me and I'd like to know how he got over it and why he wanted to get over it in the first place.
