If I try to defragment my hard drive, I get a dialog box halfway through the "analysis" part of the defrag saying that it can't continue. Is there an easy fix for this?

try this just download a copy of CCleaner (link http://ccleaner.com/ then run it this will safely delete all your temp files for you, then Defrag your hard drive again, and are you using windows defrag "Diskkeep Pro" is the best program to use for this. hope this all helps you.

There is not enough info in your question to give a firm answer but try this.
On "my compter" right click the "c:" drive and look at properties" . Look to see if you've used up all of your disk space.

What I am suggesting is that it is possible defrag won't run because there is not enough free disk space to use for temp storage when executing. If it turns out you have used all of your available disk space, you will have to delete some of your junk files - like pictures and music you don't really want or need. Try freeing up some disk space then defrag.

you're hard drive may be to full. when a computer dose a defrag it needs plenty of space to move files to the end of the drive when it has put the file together it then moves it to the front of the drive...
you first need to do a disk clean up, then defrag the system in safe mode. (DOS) Disk Operating System. if you do it under windows it will be using the virtual disk space at the same time...( Disk space that windows uses to dump memory )

Do you have the minimum free space (15% in case of the built in tool) required? Have you run a chkdsk? Its also a good idea to run diskcleanup before you start. If your drive is too full, it might be a painful task to delete or burn stuff off first to free up space and then run the defrag. Always run a cleanup and analyze the fragmentation at regular intervals to avoid bottlenecks.

whats up there, ok i latterly had this concern. My overwhelm(Now boyfriend) and that i've got been beginning as much as get rather close and then i found out I had to get braces yet he says he will love me besides.
