Yes, I agree with you. Tofu is a great source of protein without the danger of fats, especially animal fats. I don like it fried, in salads and in miso soup. I just got a book of tofu recipes...I think that there are so many things that we can do with it.

No it is not rubbery and gross. that's a scrumptious, clean nutrition equivalent to steamed bean cakes, and is rather scrumptious. yet permit me ask you - could you think approximately canned macaroni cheese a solid indication of ways beautiful that's? If no longer, then do no longer hear to any of those ( American written) posts asserting tofu slightly tastes of something. i could say that anybody who calls it that has under no circumstances had solid tofu. clean tofu is extraordinary. that's beany, frangrant, freshly made and nutty tasting. rather like freshly baked peanut flour bread. It has a gentle flavour, beautiful wealthy texture, merely approximately like pull=aside bread. In Japan, human beings of all types- sportsment, businessmen, childrens, childrens- all human beings, loves and eats it on a daily basis. that's superb whilst eaten clean and easy, no longer swamped in different flavours. there is in common terms one reason to ever do this to nutrition, and this is to mask the flavour of undesirable or old nutrition. Tofu is neither. in case you like to understand, bypass detect a close-by massive Asian marketplace. they frequently sell clean and categories. solid high quality is what you like, and get greater organization or organization. gentle and silken tofu has a jelly consistency and it merely no longer as meaty, physically powerful, dense and chewy. once you get solid stuff, the feel is like clean cheese, in common terms slightly greater nuggety, like oatmeal this is definite jointly. constantly get organization tofu. once you're truly fortunate and detect a product referred to as "baked tofu" get that too. it is not quite baked, this is simpyl pressedd down whilst being made. this is in many circumstances mentioned as pressed tofu. And get a solid variety, an Asian variety like "afctrading", no longer some nasty Walmart junk.

I tried it once in a chinese dish, and I thought it was disgusting. But it could have just been the way it was cooked that time. I didn't care for the texture.

Yeah I've had it many times at chinese restaurants and my husband and I have also bought some from our local grocery store. It's an aqcuired taste thing. To me, it's kind of tasteless... therefore, there's no complaint! =P

Unlike soya milk, Ick! It's so sour!!!!
