We have a beautiful 8x8 treehouse that my husband and daughter spent many months building! It has a screened porched, a trap door, furniture, shelves, a mural ceiling and a ladder entry.
Unfortunately she fell from the ladder a month after it was finished and now refuses to use it. It has become my husband's treehouse. Maybe it always was?

Yep,my Brother built it for my twin boys 4 yrs ago,its cool too..We call it the Elmer Fudd Hideout..>=)He took plans for a life size dollhouse and converted it to a treehouse,so its huge with 2 rooms, each 8 x 10 ft.,its enclosed and weatherproofed..They camp in it alot in the good weather months.

Actually...I had a Fort House (kind of like a little castle), but for some reason this strange plant (I thought it was a watermelon plant) was growing underneath. But if it was a tree growing there then technically I had a tree house but we built the house before planting the tree. Lol. I've moved since then but my neighboors still tell me it's there.

No, but I can't imagine anything more charming. My back porch is sort of like a tree house. Sometimes I feel like I'm sitting amid the branches of the two enomous maples at either side of the house.

I so have one, I built it in an Oak tree in my backyard, for my kids.
that was about twenty years ago, and it is still there, in fact a couple of my grandchildren like to sleep there in the nice weather.

No but I once went to a cafe on a tree and it was magical to drink your coffee up with the birds.

I used to have one, because I wanted to immitate Donald Duck's nephews. I insisted too much and my mother had the gardener construct it for me. She had to regret it: Whenever I was naught I drew up the rope ladder and she could not reach me....
